Dr. Bishoy Labib has been in neurology practice for over 20 years. Throughout his career, he has dealt with complex cases of various neurological disorders. He runs a diverse neurology practice serving the coachella Valley. He implements up to date treatment based on changing treatment protocols provided by the American Academy of Neurology. Dr. Labib is Board certified in neurology and is engaged in teaching residents and medical students. His mission is to promote health and neuroscience in Coachella Valley.
He previously held an assistant professor appointment and associate neurology residency program director at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). In this capacity, Dr. Labib instructed young neurologists in residency training and assisted with establishing the school’s didactic curriculum.
In addition to this, Dr. Bishoy Labib has published book chapter and peer reviewed articles in neurology. He continues to be involved in research. He completed vascular neurology fellowship at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Prior to that he was appointed as the Neurology Chief resident at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where he completed his neurology residency and internal medicine internship. He graduated with honors from University of Alexandria School of Medicine in 1995. He is a member of the American Academy of neurology as well as being affiliated with desert doctors association. Dr. Labib helped in establishing the structure for the stroke program at Eisenhower medical center in 2006 and served on committees to initiate internal residency program at Eisenhower medical center. He continues to be involved in teaching residents and medical students.
His mission is to promote neuroscience in the coachella valley and to connect his patients with up to date treatment guidelines.
Dr. Limonadi is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon specializing in brain tu-mors, minimally invasive spinal surgery, trigeminal neuralgia, facial pain, hemifacial spasm, aneurysms, deep-brain stimulation and complex spine and chronic pain syndrome. While physics and electronics were initially hobbies for Dr. Limonadi, his interests evolved into what would become a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles and a position as senior associate engineer and scientist for IBM Microelectronics Division, where he developed his passion for utilizing innovative and state-of-the-art technologies in neurosurgery.
Dr. Limonadi graduated from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire, and completed his residency in Neurosurgery and fel-lowship at Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Limonadi is a mem-ber of the American Medical Association, American Association of Neu-rological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, California As-sociation of Neurological Surgeons, and American Medical Association.
Dr. Shen is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon who specializes in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery, surgical treatment of brain tumors and stereotactic radiosurgery.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engi-neering from Rice University in Houston, Texas, Dr. Shen received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He completed his internship and neurosurgery residency at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center. As part of his residency, he also spent a year at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Shen then completed a Spine Fellowship at the Semmes-Murphey Clinic at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. Shen is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the California Medical Association and the Riverside County Medical Society. Dr. Shen was named among America's Top Surgeons in 2007, 2008 and 2009, and Palm Springs Life named him a Top Doctor in 2005, and Coachella Valley’s Top Doctors of 2023.

Serving as an Assistant Clinical Professor, Dr. Tavakoli boasts a 28+ year career dedicated to enhancing the medical care of critically ill patients. His expertise lies in promoting multidisciplinary teamwork, advancing medical education, and contributing to research initiatives.
Notable highlights of his career include the establishment of a Pulmonary Fellowship Program to address the future demand for pulmonary/critical care physicians in the Coachella Valley region (Eisenhower Health).
Dr. Tavakoli has also played a pivotal role in implementing impactful quality improvement initiatives, such as reducing sepsis-related mortality through the implementation of a sepsis bundle and achieving a significant reduction in ventilator-associated pneumonia through strategic interventions.
Driven by a commitment to educational development, he has established a Critical Care Conference to disseminate critical care medicine knowledge in the Coachella Valley.
